I am an expressionist artist, who uses acrylic paint promptly in my work to create abstract, figurative and expressive paintings.

My recent work was exhibited at the mayor of London’s private event at the City Hall. My work is emotionally driven and creates a sense of freedom. I specifically use acrylic because it dries quickly and challenges my everyday OCD to let go, as I can’t erase or blend out. This forces me to keep painting without judgement.

Few of my artworks collection are based on my West African heritage from Ghana. Using traditional kente and Ghanaian fabric patterns in the background of my work, brings forth not only colour but a sense of history and tradition to the paintings.  My work has evolved in using different expressive styles to translate my narratives.
