Refund and Return Policy

Overview

Our refunds and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. This does not apply to artworks purchased from our store. For artwork policy view the artwork section below.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Certain types of goods or services are exempt for a refund. 

Non-returnable items:

  • Downloadable products purchased on the website
  • Greeting cards and messages enquired and purchased

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the item is approved for a return, then your refund will be processed to your credit card or original method of payment. There is often some processing time before a refund is sent, allow 7 working days to receive your refund.

Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged when delivered to your address. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email.

 

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs paid for when purchasing an item are non-refundable, if you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item as at times items may be lost during transit. In this case we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, if we did not receive the returned item.

Artwork products

We don’t offer returns, refunds or exchange for artworks that were successfully delivered to you. Exempt from damaged artworks, wrong artworks received or misplaced artworks during transit. If any of these apply to your product please contact us at info@theshapes.uk within a week of receiving your order or not receiving your order once it has been confirmed as misplaced and after a thorough investigation we would issue you a refund not an exchange.
